Dr. May Ying WANG 王莹

She is the Programme Director of Master of Arts in Communication - Media Management Concentration. She received her Ph.D. in the School of Business from The University of Hong Kong and M.Phil. in System Engineering and Engineering Management from The Chinese Unviersity of Hong Kong.

Dr. Thomas Canhao XU 许粲昊

Division of Science and Technology | 理工科技学部 Assistant Professor of Data Science | 数据科学系助理教授 Email: thomaschxu@uic.edu.cn Office: T6-302-R8 Dr. Xu worked since 2005 as Lecturer, Researcher, Postdoc Researcher, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Guest Professor, Technical Director, and Chief Technology Officer. Dr. Xu has nearly 10 years of overseas R&D experience. Dr. Xu participated in research, development, and management of tens of international projects from industry and academics.

Dr. Jude Shengxin ZHU 朱圣鑫

Division of Science and Technology | 理工科技学部 Associate Professor of Data Science | 数据科学系副教授 Email: shengxinzhu@uic.edu.cn Office: T6-302-R6 Shengxin Zhu received his B.S. in Information and Computational Science from Xiamen University, MSc in Computational Mathematics from China Academy of Engineering Physics and his Ph.D. in Mathematics from Oxford. Shengxin was a winner of the Oxford Center for Collaborative and Applied Mathematics studentship for international students. He wrote his thesis Numerical Linear Algebra Approximation Involving Radial Basis Functions under the direction of Prof. Andy Wathen. During his Ph.D. study, he once worked as a knowledge transfer associate for VSN international Ltd, this is a position funded by EPSRC, VSNi, and Oxford.

Dr. Ivan Yuhui DENG 邓宇辉

Division of Science and Technology | 理工科技学部 Associate Professor of Statistics | 统计学副教授 Email: ivandeng@uic.edu.cn Office: T3-501-R5 Dr. Deng received his PhD in Applied Mathematics from CityU of Hong Kong. Before joining UIC he served as a research fellow in CityU of Hong Kong and HIT Shenzhen Graduate School. Currently Dr. Deng is a committe member of the Uniform Design Association of China, and a life member of China Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics. Dr. Deng's research interests include data mining and machine learning, experimental design, data analysis in medical treatment and health, finalcial time series and granular flow etc. Dr. Deng has published a number of related research papers in international journals and was also awarded the President's Award for Teaching and Service at UIC in 2018.

Dr. Alisa Wenmeng HE 何文猛

Division of Science and Technology | 理工科技学部 Assistant Professor of Food Science and Technology | 食品科学与工程系助理教授 Email: wenmenghe@uic.edu.cn Office: T8-401-R6 Dr. He now serves as Assistant Professor at the Food Science and Technology Programme, Division of Science and Technology, BNU-HKBU United International College (UIC), Associate Fellow at the HKBU-UIC Joint Institute of Research Studies, as well as Deputy Director at the BNU-HKBU United International College National Nutrition Instructor Training Base. Also, Dr. He is now a member of the Chinese Nutrition Society and Hong Kong Nutrition Association. In terms of social services, Dr. He serves as a reviewer for Food Chemistry, Food Research International, Journal of Food Science, Journal of Food Science and Technology.
