Dr. Deng received his Bsc in Applied Mathematics and MSc in Probability and Statistics from Wuhan Univeristy, and received his PhD in Applied Mathematics from City University of Hong Kong. Before joining BNBU he served as a research fellow in City University of Hong Kong and HIT Shenzhen Graduate School. Currently Dr. Deng is a committe member of the Uniform Design Association of China, and a life member of China Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics. Dr. Deng's research interests include data mining and machine learning, experimental design, data analysis in medical treatment and health, finalcial time series and granular flow etc. Dr. Deng has published a number of related research papers in international journals and was also awarded several research grants in the field of statistics and applied mathematics. Dr. Deng was awarded the President's Award for Teaching and Service at BNBU in 2018.

邓宇辉博士，北师港浸大理工科技学部统计系副教授，于武汉大学获应用数学学士学位，概率论与数理统计硕士学位，并于香港城市大学获应用数学博士学位，现任中国数学会均匀设计分会委员，中国工业与应用数学学会终身会员。邓宇辉博士的研究兴趣包括数据挖掘，机器学习，实验设计，金融时间序列等。邓宇辉博士已在国际学术期刊和会议发表相关论文多篇，并主持多项研究基金项目，并于2018年被授予北师港浸大校长最佳教学和服务奖。
