Pacific Asia Summit on Transdisciplinary Education (PASTE) Date & Time: 9:30 am - 5:00 pm, 27 June 2025 (Fri) Venue: Rm JCC302, The Jockey Club Campus of Creativity (JC³), Hong Kong Baptist University About PASTE 2025: The Pacific Asia Summit on Transdisciplinary Education (PASTE) 2025 will be held on 27 June 2025 (Friday) at the Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU). It aims to gather educators from the Pacific Asia region to exchange ideas, share best practices, and explore collaboration on innovative transdisciplinary teaching and learning strategies. The Summit will also feature undergraduate student poster presentations showcasing their work related to transdisciplinary education, along with a roundtable session involving secondary school teachers from Hong Kong.
Research Scope: The project will focus on innovative teaching reforms in foundational courses empowered by artificial intelligence (AI + foundational courses).
Project Funding and Management: Each major project will be awarded a grant of RMB 20,000, each key project a grant of RMB 10,000, and each general project a grant of RMB 3,000.

Call for Application | 2025 Guangdong Province Undergraduate Universities Special Project on “Research and Practice of Foreign Language Teaching Reform”

Training | Specialized Training on the Development and Application of Exemplary Ideological and Political Education Cases in Higher Education in the New Era
Date & Time: 13-15 June 2025 (Friday to Sunday) Venue: Huangpu Hotel, Nanjing, Jiangsu Province Objectives:
Application procedures for research projects in ideological and political education
Application procedures for exemplary case development in ideological and political education
Innovative approaches to ideological and political education through the integration of large-scale language models such as DeepSeek
Note: This training is divided into two modes: on-site intensive training and online learning. The fee for the on-site intensive training is 1200 yuan per person; the fee for online learning is 600 yuan per person. A certificate of completion will be awarded to teachers who successfully complete all training modules and pass the evaluation.
Application Scope and Type: Educational and teaching achievements formed through over two years of educational and teaching practice in the field of higher education and comprehensive education since January 1, 2022.
Award Settings: Grand Prize, First Prize, Second Prize, Third Prize, and Outstanding Organization Prize

Collection Content: Historical archival materials, Academic paper, Outstanding cases of talent cultivation in colleges and universities
Award Settings: Outstanding materials will be compiled into the 40th Anniversary Commemorative Album of Guangdong Association of Higher Education, and the 40th Anniversary Commemorative Collection of Guangdong Association of Higher Education, or used for special exhibitions. The association will present honorary certificates to the authors or institutions of the selected materials, and invite the authors of the papers and representatives of the case units to attend the 40th anniversary celebration of the association.
