Notable Success:BNBU Teams Won Awards at the 5th Guangdong Innovative Teaching Contest
Two faculty teams from BNBU have been honored with awards in the recently concluded 5th Guangdong Innovative Teaching Contest, a distinguished provincial event that acknowledges excellence in the realm of teaching innovation. The competition brought together outstanding teaching teams from universities across Guangdong Province. BNBU stood out as the only joint venture university in the province to receive awards. Dr. Rongrong Chen’s team from the FST won Second Prize in the Foundational Courses Track for their course Experimental Psychology. Dr. Solna Linna XING’s team, also from FST, was awarded Third Prize for their course Social Psychology. Congratulations to both teams for their outstanding achievements and for exemplifying BNBU’s dedication to teaching excellence and innovation.

Pacific Asia Summit on Transdisciplinary Education (PASTE) Date & Time: 9:30 am - 5:00 pm, 27 June 2025 (Fri) Venue: Rm JCC302, The Jockey Club Campus of Creativity (JC³), Hong Kong Baptist University About PASTE 2025: The Pacific Asia Summit on Transdisciplinary Education (PASTE) 2025 will be held on 27 June 2025 (Friday) at the Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU). It aims to gather educators from the Pacific Asia region to exchange ideas, share best practices, and explore collaboration on innovative transdisciplinary teaching and learning strategies. The Summit will also feature undergraduate student poster presentations showcasing their work related to transdisciplinary education, along with a roundtable session involving secondary school teachers from Hong Kong.

Note: Registration can be completed through the official website of the China Association for Educational Technology (www.caet.org.cn). Each of the three competition tracks will award First, Second, and Third Prizes, as well as several Excellence Awards. Additionally, units that make outstanding contributions to the organization of the competition will be presented with the Best Organization Award.
