About the Speaker: Prof. Shaoming CHAI is a doctoral advisor at the University of Macau and serves as the Associate Dean of the Aberdeen Institute of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at South China Normal University. His research interests include educational informatization, AI in education, and blended learning. He was also a visiting scholar at the University of Toronto, Canada. Prof. CHAI has led and participated in several national and provincial-level social science projects. He has published over 30 academic papers in core journals both domestically and internationally, and has authored or translated five books. His course Knowledge Building and Collaborative Innovation has been recognized as a National First-Class Undergraduate Blended Course. He has received multiple honors, including the First Prize for Teaching Achievement at the university level and the title of "Distinguished Teaching Professor" at South China Normal University.

Abstract: Debates about GenAl's legitimate use have tended to focus on questions of 'ethical' practice. This is important but not sufficient. As educators we also need to debate, define and recommend 'responsible' use of GenAl.

Note: This training is divided into two modes: on-site intensive training and online learning. The fee for the on-site intensive training is 1980 yuan per person; the fee for online learning, which involves communication and discussion through the online training system and provides all participants with 8 class hours of extended video learning resources, is 900 yuan per person. A certificate of completion will be awarded to teachers who successfully complete all training modules and pass the evaluation.
