UIC Team Advances to the Finals of the 10th XJTLU Teaching Innovation Award We are delighted to announce that Mr. Andy Boyu LIN and his team have successfully advanced to the finals of the 10th XJTLU National University Teaching Innovation Award. The competition recognizes outstanding educators who embrace student-centered teaching and foster innovation in higher education. This year’s competition attracted an impressive 1,747 teams and 5,745 university educators from across the country, with only 50 teams making it to the final round—a remarkable achievement for UIC!
Congratulations once again for this outstanding achievement! We wish them the best of luck in the final round.
Call for Applications of the New Teacher Track of the 5th Guangdong Innovative Teaching Contest in Higher Education
Following the successful conclusion of our university-level Innovative Teaching Contest, we are excited to share that the Guangdong Association of Higher Education has recently released the announcement for the 5th Guangdong Innovative Teaching Contest in Higher Education. Notably, a new track, the New Teacher Track, has been introduced for this edition. Given this development, we are seeking one full-time teacher who joined UIC after January 1, 2023, from each faculty to participate in this new track. The key details and requirements for the New Teacher Track could be found by clicking the link below. Candidates will be selected through an internal review before being recommended to the provincial contest. Detailed information and further instructions are provided in Chinese.

ASEDHE| Certification Program for College Teacher Development Specialists
The Association of Sustainable Educational Development in Higher Education decided to launch the college teacher development teacher recognition project. It aims to establish a scientific and systematic professional framework for teacher development, specialize evaluation and certification mechanism, promotes the improvement of teachers' professional literacy, and ultimately promote colleges and universities’ ability to support the development of teachers.
Applicant procedure: Please fill in the declaration form for the certification of teacher development engineer, and conduct self-examination and relevant materials according to the instructions. Once completed, submit the form and relevant documents to Innovation@xjtlu.edu.cn.
Certification: Successful applicants will receive the College Teacher Development Specialists Certificate.
Applicants who do not pass the initial certification may revise their application based on committee feedback and resubmit.
Notice on the Training Workshop for Enhancing Teaching Competency in Curriculum Ideology and Politics for University
The training aims to address the practical problems and needs faced by university teachers in the Curriculum of Ideology and Politics. It aims to assist teachers from various disciplines, including humanities, sciences, engineering, and medicine, in implementing ideological requirements in public basic courses, professional education courses, and practical courses, thereby advancing the high-quality development of the construction of Curriculum of Ideology and Politics comprehensively.
