About Presenter:
Dr. Branton Shearer is a clinical neuropsychologist who has taught about the creative and practical applications of multiple intelligences since 1990 at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. He is the creator of the Multiple Intelligences Developmental Scales (MIDAS™ www.MIResearch.org) that have been translated into 12 languages and implemented by educators and researchers in more than 20 different countries.

Abstract:
Participants will learn how to maximize memorization, motivation and learning by activating their MI strengths. A model for developing your Self Leadership will be reviewed. Participants will gain a deeper appreciation for the importance of their Intrapersonal intelligence.

Objectives:
  • Learn MI-inspired learning strategies

  • Acquire techniques to activate Intrapersonal skills on a daily basis

  • Understand the role of Self Leadership as the key to lifelong learning

International Student Competition | Greenhack Challenge 2023

GreenHack Challenge is a social innovation case competition where bright minds from around the globe converge to brainstorm, collaborate and develop solutions for the pressing environmental challenges and climate change of our time.  

Guided by mentors and facilitators, in 48 hours, participants will work in teams to understand the global challenges we face especially regarding the rise in temperature through workshops and activities. Teams will then develop potential solutions or ideas to address these issues. Participants will be immersed in a vibrant, energetic environment where they are encouraged to think outside the box, push the boundaries of traditional solutions, and learn the necessary skill-set to build solutions that will later turn into initiatives or social enterprises.
