The Induction Program (IP) launched by CTL is developed for new teaching staff members, including teaching support staff, joining UIC during Academic Year 2022-2023. The aim of this Program is to help new colleagues get familiar with outcomes-based teaching and learning, strategies for digital learning and teaching, pedagogical knowledge, and teaching support at UIC.
The Induction Program workshops will be conducted between 16-23 February 2023. Registration in advance is highly appreciated for better meal preparation.

Abstract:This professional development workshop focuses on the importance of assessing entrepreneurship education knowledge, skills, and competencies, considering not only technical knowledge, but also important competencies such as leadership, problem-solving, and creativity. In this workshop, Dr. Chan will bring her expertise and insights to bear on the critical issue of assessing entrepreneurial skills and competencies. Participants will leave the workshop with a deeper understanding of how to effectively assess these outcomes in order to better prepare students for success in the entrepreneurial world. The ultimate goal of the workshop is to help educators develop more effective and comprehensive programmes for entrepreneurship education, and to help prepare students for success in this exciting and rapidly-growing field.
The Global Impact Grants 2023 funding initiative will be launched in March. The initiative provides small grants to share practice across our membership, and is specifically for our international members.
