The Induction Program launched by CTL is developed for new teaching staff members, including teaching support staff, joining UIC during Academic Year 2022-2023. The aim of this Program is to help new colleagues get familiar with outcomes-based teaching and learning, strategies for digital learning and teaching, pedagogical knowledge, and teaching support at UIC.
The Induction Program workshops will be conducted between 16-23 February 2023. Registration in advance is highly appreciated for better meal preparation.
The Higher Education Academy (HEA) will be opening applications for fellowship for each of the four categories supported by the PSF 2023 on 3 April 2023. New guidance documents and templates will be available from 1 March 2023.
HEA will continue to welcome applications made against PSF 2011 until 31 December 2023 for individuals already in the process of developing their application.
Note: All teaching and teaching support colleagues are encouraged to apply for HEA fellowship. In partnership with Advance HE, UIC will sponsor 50% of the HEA Fellowship application fees as a subscribing institution and the CTL and HRO will jointly reimburse the other 50% for colleagues who are awarded the fellowship.
