II. CTL Activities

1. Contest | 2022 National and Guangdong Innovative Teaching Contest第二届全国及广东省高校教师教学创新大赛

We are pleased to announce that the 2022 National and Guangdong Innovative Teaching Contest has been launched. Accordingly,a university-wide UIC Innovative Teaching

Contest (UIC教师教学创新大赛) from now to January 19 is launched. The rubrics are the same with ones for national and provincial contests.There are three distinct categori es for the contest: a. Professor, b. Associate Professor, and c. Assistant Professor/Senior Lecturer/Lecturer. For colleaguefrom outside Chinese mainland, it is highly suggested that you could team up with native Chinese colleagues who could help to fill in the application in Chinese.

Please read the announcement including rubrics (only provided in Chinese) carefully (see attachment).

Timeline:

1.Submit the application form (申报书, appendix 3) and the report of innovative teaching outcomes (length: 4000 words, including abstract and main text) (教学创新成果报告,含摘要、正文不超过4000字) along with the supporting materials (支撑材料appendix 4) to Ms. Sandy Chen (sandychen@uic.edu.cn)before January 13, 2022.Videos are not required at this stage.

2.Winners for the UIC contests will be announcedbefore January 20. Teams nominated to the provincial contest will be contacted for video production.

3.Nominated teams are required to submit the videono later thanMarch 2. Video production services will be provided.
