1. Contest | 2022 UIC Teaching Contest for Young Teachers 校级青年教师教学大赛 (see attachment 1)
Theme: Deliver a Quality Course
Eligibility: Teaching staff under age 40 (born after Aug. 31st, 1981) and has at least one year of teaching experience at UIC.
Awards:
1) Award certificates and cash prizes will be provided for Grand Prize, First Prize, Second Prize, Third Prize, and Honorable Mention.
2) The top participants will be recommended to participate in the contest at the provincial level. The result will be announced around mid-May 2022.

2. Academic Writing Workshop | Case Study: Practical Strategy for Academic Writing (see attachment 2)

Abstract: This workshop aims to share some hands-on experience about how to draft journal articles in a reader-friendly way. Questions about how to start your academic writing, how to draft journal articles in a structured way, and how to find a good editor to proofread your research papers will be addressed in this case study workshop. Meanwhile, some useful applications will be recommended to facilitate your academic writing.
