Abstract: It is a long and sometimes tedious journey to get our research published in leading journals within any disciplines. While quality as a prerequisite is beyond debate, it is equally important to develop an effective writing strategy that can enhance the competitiveness of our papers in gaining publication slots. Based on his experience as an author and journal editor, the speaker shares his views on how an effective writing strategy can and should be developed. The focus is not just on the research itself, but how attention on writing style and fine-tuning of sections, such as abstracts, introduction, and conclusion can substantially enhance the chance of getting papers published in leading journals.
