2025年2月28日,由北师港浸大教师教学发展中心(CTL)主办的“纵横立方”教与学系列讲座首场重磅开讲。首场讲座以问题意识与国家社科基金申报为主题,特邀国家社科基金"三冠学者"彭文斌教授分享科研突围的实战命题,吸引了我校有志申请国家社科基金的老师的积极参与。
On February 28, 2025, the Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) at Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University United International College launched the first session of its “Beyond Boundaries” Teaching and Learning Lecture Series. The opening lecture focused on the critical issue of problem awareness in the context of applying for funding from the National Social Science Fund of China (NSSFC). Distinguished guest speaker Prof. Peng Wenbin, a scholar who has been awarded the National Social Science Fund three times, shared his insights on pioneering research strategies and practical skills with NSSFC applications, drawing enthusiastic participation from faculty members eager to apply to NSSFC.

“纵横立方”教与学系列讲座是CTL精心打磨以助力教师实现多维度认知升级与专业突破重要一环,致力于全校范围内对话学术名家、探索前沿思想的平台之搭建。首讲特邀嘉宾彭文斌现任四川师范大学历史文化与旅游学院教授,曾先后主持国家社科基金重点项目(2018) 、 四川省社科基金重大项目(2024) 、 国家社科基金重大项目(2024),在学术研究与科研申报领域展现出丰富的实践经验与独到见解。
The “Beyond Boundaries” Lecture Series, designed meticulously by CTL, is an integral part of aneffort to help educators achieve multidimensional upgrades of their expertise and professional breakthroughs. It aims to build a platform for dialogues with academic luminaries and to explore cutting-edge ideas across the entire university. The featured guest speaker, Prof.Peng Wenbin, who currently serves as a Professor at the School of History Culture and Tourism at Sichuan Normal University, has extensive practical experience and unique insights into academic research and applications for funding. He has led several major projects, including the National Social Science Fund of China - Major Project in 2018 and 2024, and a Sichuan Provincial Social Science Fund - Major Project in 2024.

由彭教授带来的讲座更是紧扣本系列“纵览历史思辨、横跨学科交融、坚守教育匠心、塑造未来远见”的核心理念,从社科研究中问题意识的重要性出发,解析“大担忧”、“四性”、“四原则”、“八新”等关键概念,破解社科领域国家课题申报的密码。彭教授的讲解引领现场参与者走入跨学科和跨文化的申报,从意识层面走入实战操作,最终在真实案例和科研方法的剖析中圆满结束了本次分享。
Prof. Peng’s lecture closely adhered to the Lecture Series’ core philosophy of “encompassing historical reflection, spanning interdisciplinary integration, maintaining a commitment to educational craftsmanship, and shaping future foresight.” Starting from the importance of problem awareness in social science research, Prof. Peng dissected key application themes such as “great concern,” “four characteristics,” “four principles,” and “eight innovations,” unlocking the secrets to successful applications for NSSFC funding. His presentation guided attendees through an interdisciplinary and cross-cultural approach to application, from theoretical awareness to practical implementation, culminating in a comprehensive analysis of real-life cases and research methodologies.

Through in-depth interactions with Prof. Peng, attendees gained a deep understanding of the critical role problem awareness plays in applications to NSSFC. Leveraging his extensive experience, Prof. Peng shared invaluable tips and insights, providing substantial support for our faculty members to enhance their research capabilities and increase their success in funding applications. This lecture marks the beginning of the “Beyond Boundaries” initiative, laying a solid foundation for a mindset shift in education and serving as a valuable platform for enhancing the teaching and research standards of our university.
