The Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) organized a special event titled “Introduction to 2022 UIC Innovative Teaching Contest”. Around 30 faculty members attended the briefing session on-site and online.

At the beginning, Dr. Yi-Lung Kuo, Director of CTL, delivered the welcome speech and said that the ultimate goal of the contest is not to win the awards. More importantly, it is hoped that our colleagues could learn and enhance innovative teaching skills through the contest to support students’ holistic development.

Special Advisor of CTL Prof. Yanan Lin, Outstanding Teacher of the National Special Support Plan for High-level Talents, shared the detailed information and tips for preparing the Contest based on his substantial experiences as a judge panel in various local and national teaching contests.
