Undergraduate Summer Intern for the Centre for Teaching and Learning
Job Description
The Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is committed to pursue a twofold mission:
1. To provide institutional support for promoting excellence in teaching and learning at BNBU under the supervision of the Vice President (Academic).
2. In collaboration with BNBU academic and administrative units, HKBU as well as domestic and international organizations, motivate and support teaching staff to succeed in empowering students across diverse disciplines.
The CTL is now seeking an undergraduate summer intern who is expected to work at least 25 hours a week during the summer term.
Job Responsibilities:
The appointee will be required to:
1. Assist to operate CTL promotion platforms, including the CTL website, WeChat, etc;
2. Assist to coordinate activities, such as seminars, workshops, meetings, etc.;
3. Assist in all kinds of paperwork and handle related documents filing and database maintenance;
4. Other duties assigned by the supervisor/Centre Director.
Qualifications:
1. Year 2 and above BNBU students.
2. Good command of both English and Chinese;
3. Proficient computer skills (e.g. Excel, Word, PPT, website maintenance);
4. Experiences in creating visual design, photography, and video is preferred;
5. Strong communications and interpersonal skills;
6. Good problem-solving skills, detailed-oriented;
7. Responsible, trustworthy and service minded.
Salary & Benefits:
1. The internship is paid based on the standard of BNBU Finance Office. The current standard rate of pay is RMB 25/hr.
2. The accommodation is provided during the internship.
3. After successfully completing the internship program, the students may receive an internship completion certificate issued by CTL.
