Following the successful conclusion of our university-level Innovative Teaching Contest, we are excited to share that the Guangdong Association of Higher Education has recently released the announcement for the 5th Guangdong Innovative Teaching Contest in Higher Education. Notably, a new track, the New Teacher Track, has been introduced for this edition.

Given this development, we are seeking one full-time teacher who joined UIC after January 1, 2023, from each faculty to participate in this new track. The key details and requirements for the New Teacher Track are as follows. Candidates will be selected through an internal review before being recommended to the provincial contest. Detailed information and further instructions are provided in Chinese below.

关于第五届广东省高校教师教学创新大赛新赛道【新教师组】的公开遴选通知

一、赛道目标

引导新入职教师通过课程教学创新，提升教学能力和专业素养，促进新教师快速成长，提高教学质量，为高校教育教学注入新的活力，推动高校教育教学改革与发展。

二、参赛对象

2023年1月1日后入职UIC的全职教师，以个人形式参赛。

三、材料要求

参赛教师提交材料

1. 申报书。申报书样式详见附件2。

2. 教学创新成果报告。教学创新成果报告应基于参赛课程的教学实践经验与反思，体现课程教学的创新举措、过程与成效；聚焦教学实践的“真实问题”，通过课程内容重构、教学方法创新、教学环境创设、教学评价改革等，采用教学实验研究的范式解决教学问题，明确教学成效及其推广价值。报告包括摘要和正文，总字数4000字左右为宜。教学创新成果的支撑材料及目录，样式详见附件 2。

3. 课堂教学实录视频及相关材料。实录视频为参赛课程中两个1学时的完整教学实录，需包含理论和实践教学内容，具体要求详见附件2。与课堂教学实录视频配套相关材料包括：参赛课程的教学大纲，课堂教学实录视频内容对应的教案和课件，其中教学大纲主要包括课程名称、课程性质、课时学分、学生对象、课程简介、课程目标、课程内容与教学安排、课程评价等。

4. 入职证明。须提供入职证明，证明参赛教师符合新教师组参赛条件。
