Facilitator: Dr. Angus Cheong (President of the Macau Association for Internet Research (MAIR) and Founder of eRS Solutions & uMax Data Technology)

Angus Cheong obtained his Ph.D. in Communication from Hong Kong Baptist University and served as a faculty member at the University of Macau for 13 years. In 2009, he founded a company dedicated to developing AI-driven and data-powered tools and solutions for academic and commercial applications. He currently serves as the President of the Macau Association for Internet Research (MAIR) and is a member of the think tank for the World Internet Conference, positioning as a pioneer in internet research and practices.

Abstract:

The integration of artificial intelligence with human intelligence holds transformative potential in educational and workplace applications. Teachers and students can collaboratively create an environment that fosters innovation and heightens engagement, paving the way for more effective teaching and learning practices. The speaker will present a self-developed collaborative method designed to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of tasks such as content writing, translation, creative generation, creativity and other educational activities. Additionally, the speaker will address pertinent topics including trust, ethics, and the commitments necessary when using generative AI.
