The Induction Program of Semester 1 of 2024-2025


We are pleased to announce that the Induction Program for all new teaching staff members, including teaching support staff, joining UIC during the Academic Year 2024-2025 is launched. The aim of this program is to help new colleagues become familiar with outcomes-based teaching and learning, strategies for digital learning and teaching, pedagogical knowledge, and teaching support at UIC.


The following Induction Program workshops will be conducted between 3-13 September 2024.

This workshop provides an overview of the generative AI principles and guidelines established at HKBU with an emphasis on how they can be used in teaching and learning, and assessment. The session will also discuss the ethical implications and challenges of implementing generative AI in higher education.
