Abstract: This presentation summarizes a successful application for a full HEA fellowship, made in June, 2022. With support from CTL, Professor Jonathan Corbett and other colleagues, the application took no more than two weeks to develop and did not require any amendments or further information. The HEA process nonetheless helped to define and improve many aspects of the applicant´s teaching and university management. Presentation attendees can expect to receive a step-by-step guide for their own applications, at Associate Fellowor Fellow level.
Note: All teaching and teaching support colleagues are encouraged to apply for HEA fellowship. In partnership with Advance HE, UIC will sponsor 50% of the HEA Fellowship application fees as a subscribing institution and the CTL and HRO will jointly reimburse the other 50% for colleagues who are awarded the fellowship.
