Induction Program for Semester 1 of 2025-2026 The Induction Program (IP) launched by CTL is developed for new teaching staff members, including teaching support staff. The aim of this Program is to help new colleagues get familiar with outcomes-based teaching and learning, strategies for digital learning and teaching, pedagogical knowledge, and teaching support at BNBU.
CTL will host the 2025-2026 Induction Program workshops between 5-25 September 2025. All teaching staff are warmly welcome. Registration in advance is highly appreciated for our better preparation.

The Seventh National Blended Teaching & Learning Innovation Contest in Higher Education: Pre - Contest Coaching
To better prepare our faculty for the 7th National Blended Teaching & Learning Innovation Contestin Higher Education, CTL has invited two distinguished experts to provide guidance. This session is primarily designed for participating teachers,and all interested faculty are also welcome to attend.
Guest Experts Prof. Shaoming CHAI Associate Dean of the Aberdeen Institute of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, South China Normal University • Awarded the Third Prize in the National Blended Teaching Innovation Contest, and First and Second Prizes in university-level teaching achievement awards. • Presided over multiple provincial-level first-class online and offline blended courses and open online course projects.

Innovative Teaching and Learning Journal (Vol.7, No.1) – Now Released!
The of Volume 7, Number 1 (June 2025) of the academic journal Innovative Teaching and Learning(ITL). This issue serves as a resource for enhancing pedagogical practice and fostering critical discourse on contemporary educational challenges.
Journal Overview
Innovative Teaching and Learning (ISSN 2709-2917 print; 2709-2291 online), a journal founded by BNBU, promotes pedagogical excellence through empirical research, critical reviews, and evidence-based practices. Its latest special issue, Liberal Arts, Diversity, and Our Times, features innovative methods and critical approaches to contemporary educational challenges. Topics include diversity pedagogy in media and gender studies, liberal arts amid neoliberal and AI disruptions, multilingual support in EMI contexts, cross-cultural language acquisition, and ethical implications of technology on equity and integrity.
With the rapid development of CTL, we are currently seeking two Year 2 and above BNBU students to support CTL’s daily operations. You are welcome to join a highly motivated team to assist in coordinating, organizing, and promoting various activities. Here, you will have many opportunities to meet distinguished scholars from inside and outside the campus, get your ideas applied (editing, organizing, and designing), have the privilege to join the CTL’s events, learn state-of-the-art teaching practices, and more!

Call for Participation | Notice on Soliciting Typical Cases of "Artificial Intelligence +" 为加速人工智能在重点行业的规模化应用,推动“人工智能+”场景在行业内规模化应用,现遴选一批可复制、可推广的典型案例向全省宣传推广。
To accelerate the large-scale application of artificial intelligence in key industries and promote the widespread adoption of "AI+" scenarios within these sectors, a selection of replicable and scalable exemplary cases will be made for province-wide promotion and dissemination.
The case description shall be limited to 2000 words. Relevant images or tables may be incorporated where appropriate. The recommended outline is structured as follows:

Conference | New Era Undergraduate Education Innovation Seminar & the 11th XJTLU National University Teaching Innovation Award Northeast Regional Selection Conference
The seminar will be structured in accordance with the “student-centered” educational philosophy, focusing on the core challenges faced by front-line teachers in their teaching practices. It aims to provide opportunities for cooperation, communication and discussion, helping teachers jointly create solutions and distill ideas for classroom reform. Date: 25-26 September, 2025 Location: Jilin University (吉林大学)

The theme of this quarterly meeting is "Digital Intelligence Empowering Education: Leading the New Ecosystem of Teacher Development". The meeting will bring together various perspectives to discuss how to utilize digital intelligence technologies to optimize educational resources and enhance teaching quality. It will also focus on the practical experiences and explorations of the education development center and front-line teachers in the digital age, jointly promoting the innovative development of artificial intelligence teaching and improving the teaching and talent cultivation levels of universities.
