Contest | The Seventh National Blended Teaching & Learning Innovation Contest in Higher Education “超星杯”第七届全国高校教师混合式教学设计创新大赛
To promote teaching excellence at BNBU and nominate outstanding teachers for the Seventh National Blended Teaching & Learning Innovation Contest in Higher Education (“超星杯”第七届全国高校教师混合式教学设计创新大赛). As informed by the organizer, all teaching staff at BNBU who meet the criteria are encouraged to participate. Candidates will be selected internally, pass the preliminary round contest, and three of them will be recommended to the semifinal contest. Non-native Mandarin-speaking participants are advised to cooperate with Mandarin-speaking colleagues.
Eligibility and Course Requirements:
Each participant or team should select one course as their contest entry. The course should be a blended course that integrates high-quality online open course resources or utilizes online teaching materials and learning management platforms to combine online learning with in-person instruction.
The lead instructor must have taught the selected course at least twice in the past five years. Participants may register individually or as a team. A team may consist of one lead instructor and up to four additional team members.

Pacific Asia Summit on Transdisciplinary Education (PASTE) Date & Time: 9:30 am - 5:00 pm, 27 June 2025 (Fri) Venue: Rm JCC302, The Jockey Club Campus of Creativity (JC³), Hong Kong Baptist University About PASTE 2025: The Pacific Asia Summit on Transdisciplinary Education (PASTE) 2025 will be held on 27 June 2025 (Friday) at the Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU). It aims to gather educators from the Pacific Asia region to exchange ideas, share best practices, and explore collaboration on innovative transdisciplinary teaching and learning strategies. The Summit will also feature undergraduate student poster presentations showcasing their work related to transdisciplinary education, along with a roundtable session involving secondary school teachers from Hong Kong.
Research Scope: The project will focus on innovative teaching reforms in foundational courses empowered by artificial intelligence (AI + foundational courses).
Project Funding and Management: Each major project will be awarded a grant of RMB 20,000, each key project a grant of RMB 10,000, and each general project a grant of RMB 3,000.

Award Settings: Outstanding materials will be compiled into the 40th Anniversary Commemorative Album of Guangdong Association of Higher Education, and the 40th Anniversary Commemorative Collection of Guangdong Association of Higher Education, or used for special exhibitions. The association will present honorary certificates to the authors or institutions of the selected materials, and invite the authors of the papers and representatives of the case units to attend the 40th anniversary celebration of the association.
