BNBU Academic Drinks: How China and India Tell the BRICS Story

The second BNBU Academic Drinks event of the 2025-2026 academic year was successfully held on Thursday, 11 December 2025, from 4 to 6 pm at CHIAS Coffee. Dedicated to promoting cross-departmental friendship and academic exchange, the event provided an informal platform for faculty members to connect and share insights, with delicious refreshments enhancing the relaxed atmosphere.

The highlight of the event was an engaging presentation. Dr. Anilesh KUMAR and Dr. Sun HAO, Assistant Professors of Media and Communication Studies from FHSS, together delivered a presentation focused on "How China and India Tell the BRICS Story." Drawing from a research project analyzing news articles spanning several years, they shared their analytical framework and explored the distinct approaches to narrating BRICS-related themes in the two countries’ media.
