北师香港浸会大学教师教学发展中心通过省质量工程认定 BNBU's Centre for Teaching and Learning Gain Endorsement at Provincial Quality Project Certification

近日,广东省教育厅发布了《广东省教育厅关于公布教学质量与教学改革工程项目2024年度验收结果的通知》,北师香港浸会大学(BNBU)教师教学发展中心(Centre for Teaching and Learning,以下简称中心)成功通过验收,成为广东省合作办学高校中首个立项且通过省质量工程认定的教师教学发展中心。



广东省教学质量与教学改革工程(简称省质量工程)是广东省教育厅推动本科高校内涵式发展的重要举措,引导高校持续聚焦教学与人才培养中的突出问题,持续深化专业建设、课程体系、实验实践、教学组织、教学评价等关键领域改革,培育并推广优秀教学成果,提升人才培养质量。此次北师港浸大教师教学发展中心成功通过验收,不仅体现了学校在教学能力建设上的重大突破,也彰显了合作办学模式下的教学创新优势。



北师港浸大教师教学发展中心以促进卓越教与学为使命,于2021年1月成立,同年获批广东省本科高校教学质量与教学改革工程项目。自成立以来,中心累计举办160余场涵盖人工智能赋能教育、跨学科融合与教学技能提升等主题的专业发展活动,覆盖线上线下教师超过15000人次。通过教师岗前培训、教学公开示范课堂、导师“传帮带”及个性化教学咨询,中心为教师提供从理念到实践的系统化成长路径,促进跨学科融合与教育模式创新。同时,中心充分发挥内地与香港高校合作办学优势,搭建跨校区、跨文化的交流平台,推动优质教学资源与成功经验的双向流动,为教师提升国际化教学视野,也为学生创造丰富、多元的学习环境。



立足合作办学特色,围绕提升教师教学能力和学生学习体验的核心使命,中心已构建起具有鲜明特色的发展体系。未来,中心将持续深化建设成果,进一步发挥省级平台的辐射带动作用,持续优化教师发展支持体系,加强教育技术创新应用,推动教学研究成果的转化与推广,助力北师港浸大培养具备国际视野与跨学科能力的创新型人才,为粤港澳大湾区高等教育高质量发展贡献力量。


On 1 August 2025, the Department of Education of Guangdong Province issued the “Notice from the Department of Education of Guangdong Province on the 2024 Acceptance Outcomes for Teaching Quality and Teaching Reform Projects”. The Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) at Beijing Normal-Hong Kong Baptist University (BNBU) has obtained the endorsement and received the Provincial Quality Project Certification. CTL holds the distinction of being the first centre among joint-ventures universities in Guangdong Province to be awarded such recognition and honor. 

The Guangdong Province Higher Education Teaching Quality and Reform Project (also known as the Provincial Quality Project) is a key measure by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education to promote the quality-oriented development of undergraduate universities. It guides colleges and universities to continuously address prominent issues in teaching and talent cultivation, deepen reforms in critical areas such as disciplinary development, curriculum systems, practical training, teaching organization, and evaluation mechanisms, while fostering and promoting outstanding teaching achievements to enhance the quality of talent development. The endorsement from the Department of Education of Guangdong Province for BNBU’s CTL not only reflects a significant breakthrough in the advancement of the university’s teaching capacity but also demonstrates the advantages of teaching innovation under the cooperative education model.

Established in January 2021 with the mission of promoting excellence in teaching and learning, BNBU’s CTL gain the endorsement in the same year for its Higher Education Teaching Quality and Reform Project of Guangdong Province for undergraduate universities. Since its inception, the centre has organized over 160 professional development activities covering themes such as AI-empowered education, transdisciplinary education, and teaching skills enhancement, reaching more than 15,000 participants online and offline. Through activities such as Induction Program, Open Classroom Initiative, Staff Mentoring Program, and Teaching Consultation Program, CTL provides a systematic growth path for teachers—from conceptual understanding to practical application—fostering transdisciplinary integration and innovation in educational models. Additionally, leveraging the advantages of the collaborative partnership between Mainland China and Hong Kong universities, the centre has built cross-university and cross-cultural exchange platforms, facilitating the two-way flow of high-quality teaching resources and successful experiences. This not only enhances teachers’ international pedagogical perspectives but also creates a rich and diverse learning environment for students.

Building on the distinctive features of the cooperative education model and centered on its core mission of enhancing teaching capabilities and student learning experiences, the CTL has established a distinctive development system. Moving forward, the centre will continue to deepen its achievements, further amplify the influence of its provincial platform, optimize the faculty professional development support system, strengthen the innovative application of educational technology, and promote the transformation and dissemination of teaching research outcomes. These efforts will support BNBU in cultivating innovative talents with global perspectives and interdisciplinary competencies, contributing to the high-quality development of higher education in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
