To promote teaching excellence at BNBU and nominate outstanding teachers for the 6th National and Guangdong Innovation Teaching Contest (第六届全国高校教师教学创新大赛广东分赛暨广东省高校教师教学创新大赛), we are pleased to announce the launch of the 6th BNBU Innovation Teaching Contest, running from now until January 7, 2026. Detailed guidelines are provided in the attachments 1 and 2.

Theme

Empower Teaching Innovation, Nurture Top Talents (推动教学创新，培养一流人才)

Eligibility

All full-time faculty members are eligible to participate.

• For Group 1–7, the lead instructor must have taught the participating undergraduate course at least twice in the past five years.

• Additional requirements regarding team composition and group-specific rules are available in the attached guidelines.

Key Dates

• Pre-registration: Participants are required to submit their pre-registration information (Group Category+Course Name) to ctl@bnbu.edu.cn by 17:00 on December 8, 2025

• Full submission deadline: December 23, 2025, 17:00

• On-site presentation (tentative): January 7, 2026

2. Teaching Innovation Report (length: 4000 words, including abstract and main text)

3. Class Teaching Video Recording and Relevant Materials

Note: The submission system and detailed operational guidelines will be announced later.

Important Notes

• Non-native Mandarin speakers are highly encouraged to submit the applications in English for the university-wide contest. Please note that those advancing to the provincial competition will be required to provide materials in Chinese and are responsible for their translation.

• The submitted materials (except the scanned copies of the original supporting materials) should not disclose any personal or institutional information.

• Please be aware that the current contest’s guidelines are based on the 5th Guangdong Innovation Teaching Contest. Finalists nominated for the 6th Guangdong Innovation Teaching Contest should expect to align their materials with its final requirements.

• Any post-contest changes to team membership require submitting the Confirmation Form for Team Members Change.
