Journal Overview
Innovative Teaching and Learning (ISSN 2709-2917 print; ISSN 2709-2291 online), a scholarly journal established by Beijing Normal-Hong Kong Baptist University (BNBU), advances pedagogical excellence through disseminating empirical research, critical review studies, and evidence-based teaching practices.
The newly published special issue, Liberal Arts, Diversity, and Our Times, extends this mission by presenting methodological innovations and critical analyses addressing contemporary challenges. Contributions include: pedagogical frameworks for diversity education in media studies and gender courses; examinations of liberal arts missions amidst neoliberal policies and generative AI disruption; scaffolding strategies for multilingual classrooms in English Medium Instruction (EMI) environments; empirical studies on cross-cultural student language acquisition; and ethical evaluations of emerging technologies' impact on educational equity and academic integrity.
