Are you exploring transdisciplinary approaches or integrating AI tools in your teaching? CTL invites you to showcase your innovative practices through our Open Classroom Initiative (OCI) during 7 Apr (Week 9) to 25 Apr (Week 11). This is a great opportunity to share your experiences, receive valuable peer feedback, and inspire colleagues with your teaching innovations.
Special Focus: Transdisciplinary Teaching & AI Integration
We especially welcome sessions that demonstrate transdisciplinary teaching practices, AI integration, or the combination of both. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:
AI-driven assessments and feedback
Personalized learning through AI algorithms
AI literacy instruction
Creative uses of AI tools in your subject area
Strategies for managing AI in student learning
Why Share Your Teaching Practice?
Receive focused feedback on your transdisciplinary and/or AI-enhanced teaching methods
Learn from peer observers' perspectives and experiences
Contribute to building best practices in innovative teaching
Help colleagues interested in exploring new teaching approaches
Earn recognition with a certificate of appreciation and a gift card
How to Participate:
1. Review the OCI Guide for Course Instructors (Attachment 1).
2. Register by 26 Mar 2025 through MIS Survey: https://mis.uic.edu.cn/survey/login.jsp
3. If your proposed theme fits our focus, you'll be invited to host your session (maximum 5 observers)
4. Complete the Open Classroom Reflection Form (Attachment 2) based on peer feedback
