The editorial team of BNBU’s pedagogical journal Innovative Teaching and Learning (ITL) is planning a thematic issue on the topic of “AI and Education,” to appear at the beginning of 2026. The issue’s guest editor is Prof. Matthew Sansom from the School of Culture and Creativity. The issue is projected to contain papers, of 4000-5000 words, that address the various challenges we are all facing around the integration of AI into our teaching practice (across design, delivery and assessment). “Reflections on practice,” without empirical content, are also welcome. A poster call for papers is attached to this e-mail.
This is a great opportunity to get a paper published in an important area we are all necessarily engaged with, and an effective way to develop ideas for further publications and presentations. The editorial team is asking for near final drafts to be submitted by the end of September 2025. Manuscripts can be submitted directly to the guest editor, at matthewsansom@uic.edu.cn. Prof. Sansom is also happy to answer any questions that you may have.
ITL’s editorial team is looking forward to receiving your submissions!
